​The president of the Republic received, today, at 2:00 PM, Prime Minister Designate, Saad Hariri, at the Baabda presidential Palace.
PM-designate Saad Hariri confirmed his understanding with President Michel Aoun in all matters, indicating the presence of some knots "which we are trying to untie" in the cabinet formation process. Hariri stressed that the interest of the nation and citizen "is the most important."
President of the Lebanese American University
President Aoun then received the President of the American Lebanese University, Dr. Joseph Jabbra, at the head of a delegation from the University.
Dr. Jabbra said the visit was intended to congratulate President Aoun and put all the University resources at his disposal. Dr. Jabra invited the president to participate in the annual dinner organized by the University at BIEL.
