President Michel Aoun signed officer promotion decrees in all military services. Decrees carry the following numbers: 6535, 6536, 6537 (Army Officer Promotions), 6538 and 6539 (ISF Officer Promotions), 6540 (General Security Officer Promotions), 6541 (State Security Officer Promotions), and 6543 (Promotion of Lieutenants to First Lieutenant in Customs, after the issuance of Decree 6542, and placing them on the promotion schedule).
Promotions also included officers of different ranks, from Colonel rank and below, in various military apparatuses.
MP Eddy Maalouf:
President Michel Aoun received MP, Eddy Maalouf, today at Baabda Palace, and deliberated with him the general situation and the situation of Metn, in addition to the work of the Parliament and parliamentary committees.
General President of Basilian Monastic Community:
President Aoun met former General President of the Basilian Monastic Community, and Head of St. John Monastery of Khenchara town, Abbot Elie Maalouf, and discussed with him national and educational affairs.
