​President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, signed Decree No. 8340 on September 10, 2021, which stipulated the transfer of funds from the general budget reserve to the budget of the Ministry of Finance - Customs Administration for the year 2021, amounting to two billion and five hundred million Lebanese pounds, to cover the appointment of trainee guards in customs instead of those who did not attend the first course, in addition to appointing the second batch of trainees.​
