H.E. the President of the Republic General Michel Sleiman chaired today the 4/11/2010 at 11:00 a.m. a session of the national dialogue at the Presidential Palace of Baabda. Were absent from the session  MPs Walid Jumblatt and Hagop Pakradonian who are outside the country; were also absent from the session former President General Michel Aoun and MPs Suleiman Franjieh, Talal Arslan, Assaad Hardan, and Mohammad Raad.

Following discussions, H.E. the President adjourned the meeting and called the national dialogue committee for a session be held no later than November 22, 2010 to follow-up discussions pertaining the national defense strategy aiming at protecting defending Lebanon and ensuring the maintenance of civil peace based on communal coexistence and on the spirit of the Constitution and National Pact.
