Examining the draft budget of the State and following up its implementation and disbursement.

  Following up the budget deficit and the situation of the Treasury with the competent departments and the Central Bank.

  Following up other tasks upon the request of  the Head of Division or Director General

  Drawing the draft budget of the Directorate General,  supervising its implementation and the
disbursement of the accordingly allocated funds, and   paying the Presidency staff their salaries.

  Handling accounting related affairs.

  Following up other tasks upon the request of  the Head of Division or Director General.

 Examining financial issues referred to or brought to the attention of the Presidency of the Republic and then referring them   to the Head  of  Division or Director General.

 Requesting information from the Central Bank and private financial institutions, in accordance with the provisions of the Banking Secrecy Law and the Cash and Credit Law.

 Following up Customs activities and procedures of  the levy and collection of import duties.

 Examining bills, draft decrees and other drafts related to the above mentioned items, referred to or brought to the attention of the Presidency before referring them to the Head of Division or Director General.

 keeping track of other tasks upon the request of  the Head of Division or Director General
