Responsibilities of the Technical Affairs Division

  Examining the artistic, scientific, professional or technical issues referred to or brought to the attention of the Presidency of the Republic before  referring them to the Director General, namely those related to urban planning projects, including schemes as well as blueprints and sketches of  municipality plans, roads, highways, buildings, water, electricity, sanitation, traffic, transportation, mail, telecommunications, mineral resources, wells, museums and  technological projects in addition to issues related to licensing, mining exploration, and  disaster emergency management.


  Examining bills, draft decrees and other drafts related to the above mentioned items  brought to the attention of the Presidency of the Republic before referring them to the competent Head of Division or Director General.

  Following up other tasks upon the request of the Head of Division or Director General.

  Providing equipment, tools and furniture for the Presidential Palace, ensuring their delivery and supervising their maintenance.


  Supervising construction works and maintenance of the different buildings and suites of the Palace.


  Supervising the operation and maintenance of the Palace electricity, water, heating, lighting and telecommunication systems.


  Ensuring and supervising the transportation means of the Directorate General along with its maintenance.


  Supervising works and maintenance of the Palace gardens as well as the housekeeping services of the Palace.


  Following up other tasks upon the request of the Head of Division or Director General.
