Insignia:

The insignia of the Presidential Guard Brigade consists of:

1. The Lebanese flag in the form of a shield:
   The flag symbolizes legitimacy and the nation whereas the shield symbolizes protection.
2. A wreath composed of two fronds of laurel and oak leaves:
   The laurel symbolizes victory, and the oak permanence and pride.
3. Two crossed swords:
   The swords represent decisiveness and authority.
4. The background of the insignia is a shield colored navy blue:
   The navy blue is the color of the Republican Guardians.

The Lebanese flag is in the middle of the insignia, the two swords in its background, the wreath surrounding it; above it are inscribed the words “Republican Guard”.
