Commemorative medals They commemorate some military campaigns, and are awarded to all servicemen who participate in these campaigns. Presently they are: - The Medal of Palestine (1948). - The Medal of 31st December 1961. - The Medal of National Unity (to all servicemen on active duty between 13/10/1990 and 31/10/1990). - The Medal of the '' Dawn of the South'' (to commemorate the redeployment of the Army in South-Lebanon on 1/7/1991).
