Order of Public Instruction Instituted by the law of 5 December 1930, it is regulated by the code of decorations and bears the thought: "Who opens a school closes a jail"; it aims at rewarding eminent services to instruction in Lebanon, and consists of three degrees: Gold, Silver and Bronze.
