​President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, met former MP Nehmatullah Abi Nasr, and discussed with him general and electoral issues. 

Abi Nasr indicated that the meeting tackled the necessity of issuing organizational decrees for the Kesrouan-Jbeil Governorate, which were approved by the Parliament years ago and the President of the Republic published the decision to establish it long ago. 

"Current circumstances necessitate expediting the issuance of decrees, especially since the time is passing quickly, and the people of Kesrouan and Jbeil, on the coast, in the middle and in the mountain, are experiencing many difficulties in moving from their towns and villages to the Governorate of Mount Lebanon in Baabda to complete their urgent administrative matters, especially in light of the economic and financial conditions which affected all the Lebanese, in addition to the fact that the issuance of organizational decrees falls within the framework of approving the administrative decentralization stipulated in the Taif Agreement and has become the demand of all Lebanese” Abi Nasr said.

Abi Nasr also indicated that President Aoun is constantly following up on this issue and hopes that it will reach good conclusions.​
