​The Press Office of the Presidency of the Republic issued the following statement :
« Following contacts and consultations undertaken by the President of the Republic His Excellency General Michel Sleiman with the members of the Dialogue Commission, and in view of the need for further consultation, the President decided to postpone tomorrow’s session to August 16, in order to resume discussions about the national defense strategy which is on the agenda. »
