​The President of the Republic addressed with Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon, Ghazanfar Roknabadi what has circulated in the media about the presence of members from Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in Lebanon. The Ambassador denied these news and clarified that the answer was in response to a question about the presence of members from Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in Lebanon and Syrian, and the answer of the commander of the guards Mohammad Ali Jaafari addressed the situation in Syria.
President Sleiman requested an official clarification from the relevant Iranian authorities.
