Signing the decree extends the validity of patents for social security.

 

President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, signed, today, Decree No. 7401, of January 22, 2021, to grant the High Relief Commission a treasury advance of 50 billion Lebanese pounds to complete the payment of compensations to those affected by the Beirut port explosion, provided that compensations are distributed according to the mechanism established by the Army Command and Beirut Governorate, based on nominal lists prepared by the Army, in accordance with the principle of priority.

 

President Aoun asked Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, to instruct those who are required to expedite the distribution of compensations according to the specified priority.

 

The President also signed Decree No. 7402 on January 22, 2021, which extends the validity of the patents issued by the National Social Security Fund which expired between 31/12/2020 and 30/3/2021 to 31/3/2021.
