​Deputy Speaker Bou Saab: “Media reports that were published recently are not accurate. The American side is working to reach a fair agreement”.

President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, received a phone call from Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Elias Bou Saab.

Deputy Speaker Bou Saab informed the President that he had contacted the American mediator on the issue of demarcating the southern maritime borders, Amos Hochstein, within the framework of the mission assigned to him by President Aoun, and that he was informed that Hochstein will visit Lebanon at the end of next week to continue the search with the Lebanese side in the demarcation issue.  

Deputy Speaker Bou Saab also clarified that most of the media reports recently published about Hochstein's mission are based on speculation and are not accurate.
